1. Get fresh air first thing- this can help to balance your body’s internal clock (sleep foundation). If this is not possible then try during your lunch break exposing yourself to daylight.
  2. Establish a morning routine- whether this is fascial release work on your feet for 5 minutes when you get out of bed, stating your affirmations, breathing practise, journaling, working out etc.
  3. Avoid caffeine overload- enjoy your morning coffee & ensure you stay hydrated with 1.5-2L of water a day to reduce brain fog & help keep the body freely moveable.
  4. Separate work & self-care spaces- this can be difficult in the current climate & if spaces can’t be totally separate ensure you pack away the computer etc out of sight to give your mind time to recover & rest from the working day.
  5. Ditch screen time- at least an hour before bed & focus on your night time routine & habit such as reading, meditating etc.
